Welcome to the Holiday Exchange Group

PLEASE review all guidelines BELOW before sending your information to join.

This group will involve stitching exchanges related to most of the well known celebrated holidays. You may choose which exchanges you wish to join. If you are not interested in certain holidays we are exchanging for, that is no problem, you may sit out and wait for a holiday you wish to exchange for.

What do I stitch? ANY design design that relates to the holiday we are exchanging for.
How Do I finish it? Stitcher may choose ANY finish they wish-but exchange MUST be in finished form.
What fabric do I use? You may use LINEN and/or EVENWEAVE. NO AIDA!
When do I send? Mailing deadlines will be provided for each individual exchange-please see exchange info.
Do I send Extras? YES, if you wish to include extras that is just fine-however it is not mandatory.
Is this an international group? YES
When I mail do I let you know? YES, please post to the blog when you MAIL and or RECEIVE. And PLEASE post a picture of the exchange you received. If you do not have means to post a picture-please let the sender know so they can post for you. Please post your THANK YOU's as well as a picture in a timely manner. You want to let your sender know you have received and that you APPRECIATE their efforts in the exchange.
What happens if I am late mailing? ALWAYS mail on time-that is proper etiquette for exchanging. That being said, we all know that life prevents the best made plans at times-if you see that you will not be able to mail on time-you MUST contact me as soon as possible and you MUST make every effort to mail as soon as you can.
What happens if my exchange goes missing in the mail? You will need to stitch and send a replacement in a timely manner.

What happens if I do not meet my exchange commitment? you will be removed from the group without possibility of rejoining. PLEASE do not sign up if you are not a trustworthy exchanger.
Mailing deadline for each exchange will be posted within the information about the particular exchange.

Don't miss out if you enjoy celebrating holidays. I am sure there will be some wonderful stitched items exchanged. Please pay attention to the guidelines of this group. To keep the exchange fair, please follow this guideline.
Please make sure your exchange is in FINISHED form (please note: No Aida, no
magnets, bookmarks, towel, coaster type finishes.) Please make sure you send
an exchange you would be happy receiving yourself :) These are important
exchange etiquette's to follow and they help make the exchange successful.

Valentines Day Exchange (EXCHANGE CLOSED!)

For this exchange you may stitch anything Valentines Day related-or you may choose to stitch something "red" OR Heart shaped. Please make sure you stitch and finish something that you yourself would enjoy receiving.

Mailing deadline for exchange is January 31, 2010.
